Do I need any baking or decorating experience to join?
Not at all! Our workshops are designed for beginners and seasoned decorators alike. We’ll walk you through each step, and you’ll leave with beautiful (and delicious!) creations no matter your skill level.
What’s included in the workshop price?
Everything you need is included — scratch-baked cookies or cakes, pre-mixed colored royal icing, sprinkles, fondant toppers, tools, and a take-home box. Each guest also receives a swag bag with extra icing, sprinkles, and a little sweet surprise.
Can I purchase food or drinks during the workshop?
Yes! At Beebs Beans and Riverside Bookstore, guests can purchase coffee and drinks from our hosts. At private events, we can also bring our own coffee to serve alongside your sweet experience.
Do I get to take my creations home?
Absolutely. Every participant leaves with their decorated cookies or cakes, boxed up and ready to enjoy or gift.
How many people can attend a workshop?
Most of our workshops are limited to 20 participants to ensure a fun, intimate, and hands-on experience.
Can I book a private event?
Yes! We offer private bookings for birthdays, corporate team building, school groups, homeschoolers, retirement communities, and more. We bring the sweets, supplies, and fun — you bring the guests.
Do you offer kids’ classes?
Yes! Our workshops are family-friendly and perfect for children (with or without a parent/guardian joining). We also create special kid-focused events, including birthday decorating parties.
What age range is best for your workshops?
Our classes are great for kids as young as 6, all the way up to retirees and seniors. If you can hold a piping bag, you can join in the fun!
Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?
Not for our Cookie & Cake Decorating Workshops. Custom orders can be accommodated with dietary restrictions with advance notice.
What should I bring with me?
Just yourself and your creativity! We’ll provide everything else. Some guests also like to bring their phones or cameras to capture photos at our styled photo station.
